Top 10 China Toy Sourcing Companies : Compared, Ranked & Verified
Most lists of China toy sourcing companies are written by the company that ranks first. No criteria, no downsides, no way to check the claims.
This one works differently. We publish the scoring method, we name the limitations of every company on the list — including ours — and we tell you plainly when you should hire someone else.
We have sourced toys from Yiwu and Shantou since 2012. We are on this list, and we put ourselves at #1. The reasoning is below and you can test every line of it.
How we ranked these 10 companies
Rankings by “who paid” or “who wrote it” are useless. We weighted five criteria instead:
| Criterion | Peso | Why it matters for toys |
| Toy category depth | 30% | Toy compliance, tooling and factory networks do not transfer from apparel or hardware. A general agent’s “we also do toys” is not the same thing. |
| On-the-ground presence | 25% | Yiwu for mixed-SKU market buying; Shantou/Chenghai for factory-direct manufacturing. Someone has to physically walk the showroom or the production line. |
| Verification and QC depth | 20% | What actually happens between the quotation and the container being sealed. |
| Compliance capability | 15% | EN71, ASTM F963, CPSIA, CPC — and whether the certificate matches su product and su market. |
| Pricing transparency | 10% | Can you see the factory price and the service fee as two separate lines? |
Every company below was assessed from publicly available information on their own websites as of October 2026. Where a number is inconsistent across a company’s own pages, we say so.

1. TonySourcing — Best for verified supplier comparison and compliance-heavy markets
Type: Toy-specialist sourcing agent | Based in: Yiwu and Shantou, China | Since: 2012
We run two local teams inside the two clusters that matter for toys. Yiwu covers mixed-category buying and flexible quantities; Shantou and Chenghai cover factory-direct manufacturing for plastic, electronic, RC, baby and pretend-play toys. For qualified projects we shortlist and compare 3–5 suppliers against your product, then lay out the real differences in material, spec, packaging and total landed cost — rather than handing you one number.
Fortalezas
- Comparison before commitment. You see 3–5 options with MOQ, lead time, compliance capability and price side by side, so the decision is yours and the reasoning is visible.
- Two hubs, one point of contact. Mixed-SKU consolidation from Yiwu and factory-direct programmes from Shantou run through a single team.
- Compliance built into the quotation stage. We review available documentation and coordinate testing against EN71, ASTM F963, CPSIA and CPC requirements based on your destination market — including the newer EU obligations such as PPWR packaging rules.
- Specification control before production. Materials, dimensions, function, colour, accessories, packaging and carton requirements are confirmed in writing before a production slot is released.
- Verified track record. 12+ years in toys and gifts, 5,000+ factories in the supply chain, 200+ international buyers served, 40+ destination markets.
- End-to-end on request. Sampling, OEM and custom packaging, production follow-up, pre-shipment inspection, consolidation and Amazon FBA preparation.
Limitations — read these before you contact us
- We are not a factory. If you need one single SKU replicated at very large volume with no design change, going straight to the manufacturer will usually be cheaper.
- We do not chase the lowest price. Our value is in not having to redo the order. Buyers whose only decision criterion is unit price will be happier with a pure factory-direct quote.
- We qualify projects. We take on sourcing programmes, not one-off sample requests or non-toy enquiries. Toys, promotional gifts and party supplies are what we do.
- Compliance responsibility stays shared. We review and coordinate documentation; final regulatory responsibility for your market is yours to confirm.
Ideal para: Importers and brand owners who care about EN71/ASTM/CPSIA evidence, buyers consolidating multiple categories into one container, and anyone who has been burned once by a supplier that looked fine online.

2. Senco Toys — Best for factory-direct blocks, dolls and race tracks
Type: Trading company with associated factories | Based in: Shantou, Guangdong | Since: 2010
Senco Toys operates from inside China’s toy manufacturing cluster and works with more than 10,000 cooperative suppliers, with associated factories behind the trading arm. Product focus is clear: building blocks, fashion dolls, race tracks, baby toys, make-up toys and summer toys. Buyers from Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and Asia, and the team exhibits regularly at the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, Canton Fair and the Nuremberg International Toy Fair.
Fortalezas
- Genuine category focus on toys, unlike general merchandise agents.
- Manufacturing proximity: Shantou gives direct access to the plastic and electronics supply base.
- Visible at the major fairs, which makes an in-person first meeting easy to arrange.
- Safety and certification are addressed on the site, not ignored.
Watch out
- A trading company with associated factories may quote its own margin inside the product price rather than as a separate service fee. Ask for the two lines separately.
- The agency side extends into ceramics, Christmas decorations, stainless steel and pet products, so toys are a focus rather than an exclusive specialism.
- “10,000+ cooperative suppliers” is a network figure, not a count of audited toy factories. Clarify what is verified for your category.
Ideal para: Buyers who know what they want in blocks, dolls or track toys and want it made in Shantou without running their own factory search.
3. Goodcan Trading — Best for documented Latin American and European imports
Type: Multi-category sourcing agent | Based in: Yiwu and Guangzhou | Registered since: 2003
Goodcan is one of the few agents that publishes its fee tiers openly rather than quoting case by case, and states directly that it takes no commission from the supplier side — a practice it explicitly positions itself against. Inspection runs through SGS and Bureau Veritas, and documentation is prepared for the destination regime: NOM (Mexico), INMETRO (Brazil), IRAM (Argentina) and CE (European Union). A representative office in Greece puts a contact inside European time zones.
Fortalezas
- Unusually transparent on pricing: factory price and service fee are quoted as separate lines.
- Third-party inspection through named international firms, not in-house-only grading.
- Destination-specific export documentation assembled before the vessel departs.
- Clear about what it will not take on — medical devices, regulated chemicals, safety-critical engineered parts.
Watch out
- Toys are one category among many. If you need deep toy-category development rather than procurement, a toy specialist will add more.
- The published strength is process and documentation; custom toy development and tooling are less prominent.
Ideal para: Buyers shipping into Latin America or the EU who need the paperwork right the first time, and anyone who wants to compare agents on a published fee basis.
4. Dragon Toy Service — Best for price-sensitive small trial orders
Type: Toy wholesaler and buying agent | Based in: Shantou (Chenghai) | Claimed experience: 10 years
Dragon Toy Service positions itself on price and low entry thresholds: service commission as low as 3%, factory-direct pricing, MOQ starting at 3 cartons for most toys (1 carton for some stock items), and stated delivery within 7–15 días. The catalogue runs to 5,000+ items across baby toys, RC toys, building blocks, wooden toys, fidget toys and more, and there is a separate party-supplies operation.
Fortalezas
- The clearest low-MOQ offer on this list — genuinely accessible for a first test order.
- A published commission figure, which is more than most competitors disclose.
- Chenghai base is the right address for plastic, RC and electronic toys.
- Step-by-step process (quote → order → production → QC → loading → shipping) is documented for first-time buyers.
Watch out
- The company describes itself variously as a wholesaler, a distributor, a buying agent and a sourcing agent, and also as a “cheap China direct supplier”. Those are different business models with different incentives — worth clarifying which one applies to your order.
- Public compliance content focuses on the US CPC certificate; EN71 and EU obligations are barely covered. European buyers should confirm capability before committing.
- Several parts of the site appear not to have been updated recently — the catalogue headline reads 2025 while the adjacent line refers to 2021, and the FAQ still advises waiting until “the epidemic subsides” before visiting China.
- The homepage achievement counters currently display “0+”.
Ideal para: Buyers testing the China toy market with a small first order who prioritise entry price over documentation depth.
5. Sellers Union — Best for very large multi-SKU programmes
Type: Large trading and sourcing group | Based in: Yiwu | Since: 1997
One of the largest sourcing operations in Yiwu, with 29+ years of export experience, 20,000 m² of showrooms, 100,000+ items on display and 10,000+ global clients. The toys division works with 2,000+ Chinese toy manufacturers and offers a full range of toy certificates. The group handles customs clearance as an AA-grade export company, provides free warehousing for 30 days, and can extend O/A payment terms up to 90 days. Staff cover 12+ languages.
Fortalezas
- Scale that few can match: thousands of market vendors, very high SKU counts, in-house QC.
- Consolidation across 100+ suppliers into a single shipment is routine work.
- Flexible payment terms and financial services — rare in this industry.
- Multilingual team covering English, Spanish, French and more.
Watch out
- Minimum order is listed at $5,000 per category, which puts it out of reach for small trial runs.
- Toys are one of fourteen-plus product categories; the toy team is a division, not the whole company.
- At this scale, smaller buyers may receive less individual attention. Confirm who your assigned representative is before you start.
Ideal para: Supermarket and chain buyers, dollar-store programmes, and importers moving large mixed containers who value credit terms.
6. JingSourcing — Best for Amazon sellers needing packaging work
Type: Multi-category sourcing agent | Clients: 4,000–6,000
JingSourcing runs a team of 100–200 staff and emphasises two things most agents cannot: 1-by-1 product inspection and an in-house packaging department inside its own warehouse, able to handle highly customised packaging, accessory sourcing for bundled products, and full inspection. Clients range from Amazon sellers to retailers, government agencies and schools.
Fortalezas
- In-house packaging capability genuinely differentiates — bundling, kitting and custom packaging at smaller order sizes.
- 1-by-1 inspection is more than the industry-standard AQL sampling most agents offer.
- Broad client base including enterprise and government procurement.
- States it will pursue compensation on defective goods.
Watch out
- Figures vary across its own pages: client count appears as both 4,000+ and 6,000+, and headcount as both 100+ and 200+. Ask for current numbers.
- Toys are one category among many; no toy-specific compliance content is prominent.
Ideal para: Amazon and marketplace sellers who need custom packaging, bundling and individual inspection more than toy-category engineering.
7. JustChinait — Best for dropshippers and China-based warehousing
Type: Order fulfilment and sourcing | Based in: Shenzhen | Experience: 12 years
JustChinait’s model is fulfilment: select and purchase, store and quality-check, pick and pack, then ship and track. Over 3,000 clients, with a stated 8-hour response window, buying from 1688, Taobao and AliExpress as well as factories. Also offers supplier due-diligence reports delivered within 24 hours.
Fortalezas
- Strongest on this list for dropshipping and ecommerce fulfilment workflows.
- China warehousing and consolidation across many suppliers, including AliExpress orders.
- Claims 15–30% lower prices than buying directly from Chinese platforms yourself.
- Fast stated response time and a declared no-kickback policy.
Watch out
- Orientation is fulfilment and order processing, not toy product development or toy compliance.
- No toy-specific certification or safety-content depth visible.
Ideal para: Dropshippers and ecommerce sellers who need a China warehouse and reliable pick-pack-ship, rather than a toy sourcing specialist.
8. LeelineSourcing — Best for small ecommerce businesses getting started
Type: Multi-category sourcing agent | Experience: 10 years
LeelineSourcing covers product sourcing, vendor validation, manufacturing inspection and order fulfilment, with a stated 500+ premium suppliers y 30,000+ products sourced. FBA preparation is a named service: receiving, inspecting and shipping into Amazon warehouses. Also buys from Yiwu market, Shenzhen electronics, Guangzhou clothing and leather, plus 1688 and Alibaba.
Fortalezas
- Explicitly built for small businesses and DTC brands.
- FBA prep and 1688 sourcing are clearly productised.
- Broad geographic coverage across China’s main manufacturing regions.
Watch out
- Client numbers on the site vary between 2,000+ and 6,000+. Confirm which is current.
- General merchandise, not toy-specialist; no visible toy compliance programme.
Ideal para: Newer ecommerce businesses that want one agent to handle sourcing, inspection and FBA shipment without toy-specific requirements.
9. Meeno Group — Best for the smallest trial budgets
Type: Multi-category sourcing agent | Based in: Yiwu
Meeno Group supports minimum orders as low as $500, quotes within 48 hours, and holds its own import-export licence. Services include free sourcing consultancy, factory audits, market guiding with a translator team, mixed-container management, logistics and free storage. Toys are one of eight named purchasing categories.
Fortalezas
- The lowest stated entry threshold on this list — genuinely usable for a first sample-scale order.
- Market guiding with a dedicated translator is useful if you plan to visit Yiwu yourself.
- Own import-export rights simplify shipping arrangements.
Watch out
- Toys are one of eight categories; the team’s stated average purchasing experience is around 5 years.
- Service depth on toy compliance and certification is not detailed publicly.
Ideal para: Buyers who want to test the water at minimal cost, or who need a translator and guide inside Yiwu market.
10. Maple Eye Toys — Best for custom plush, mascots and IP merchandise
Type: Custom plush manufacturer | Since: 2017
Maple Eye Toys is a factory rather than an agent, and that is the point. From MOQ 100 pieces, con 10+ in-house pattern makers, full EN71/ASTM certification and a three-stage inspection covering stitching, shape accuracy, surface finish and needle detection. Categories include mascots, brand and logo plush, promotional plush, IP character plush, keychain plush, hand puppets and vinyl plush. The sample process runs nine steps with 2–3 rounds of free modification.
Fortalezas
- Direct factory pricing and control with no intermediary layer.
- Real sampling capability — pattern makers in-house, multiple free revision rounds.
- Named safety certification (EN71/ASTM) for custom plush.
- Low MOQ for custom work at 100 pieces.
Watch out
- It is a plush factory, not a sourcing agent. You cannot consolidate other toy categories through them.
- Brand-side rather than buyer-side: they make your design, they do not compare suppliers for you.
Ideal para: Brands, schools and businesses developing custom plush, mascots or event merchandise.
How to choose: match the company to your order profile
| If you are… | Shortlist | Por qué |
| Testing China with under $2,000 | Meeno Group, Dragon Toy Service | Lowest entry thresholds |
| An Amazon seller needing FBA prep and custom packaging | JingSourcing, LeelineSourcing, TonySourcing | Packaging capability and FBA compliance |
| An importer consolidating many categories into one container | TonySourcing, Goodcan Trading, Sellers Union | Consolidation plus destination documentation |
| Selling into the EU with EN71 / GPSR / PPWR obligations | TonySourcing | Compliance handled at quotation stage, not after production |
| Shipping to Latin America | Goodcan Trading | NOM, INMETRO and IRAM documentation experience |
| A retail chain needing credit terms | Sellers Union | O/A terms up to 90 days, AA-grade customs status |
| Developing custom plush or IP merchandise | Maple Eye Toys | Factory-direct with in-house pattern makers |
| Buying blocks, dolls or race tracks factory-direct | Senco Toys | Shantou cluster focus |
Sourcing agent vs trading company vs factory direct
This is the decision that actually changes your margin, and most lists skip it.
| Sourcing agent | Trading company | Factory direct | |
| Who they represent | You, for a disclosed fee | Themselves, as seller | Themselves, as producer |
| Price visibility | Factory price and fee as separate lines | Often one bundled price | Ex-factory price, you handle the rest |
| Flexibilidad de MOQ | High — can mix suppliers | Medium — tied to their lines | Lowest per-item, highest total volume |
| Category width | Wide, across factories | Limited to their range | One product type |
| QC independence | Can be independent | Grades its own goods | The seller grades the goods |
| Compliance support | Varies by specialist | Usually limited | Usually “here is a certificate” |
| Best when | You are comparing, consolidating, or need documentation | You want a ready-made range fast | You know exactly what you want and buy deep |
The honest answer for most mid-size buyers is not one of the three, but a sequence: agents for supplier comparison and the first two orders, factory-direct once the specification is proven and volume justifies it.
What a China toy sourcing agent actually costs
Commission figures get quoted as if they were the whole cost. They are not.
Typical service fees run 3%–10% of order value depending on order size and how much of the chain the agent handles. Below roughly 3%, ask what is funding the work — the money has to come from somewhere, and the usual answers are supplier-side rebates, reduced inspection scope, or no after-sales support when something goes wrong.
Costs that are usually separate from the commission:
- Third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek) if you want a named external report
- Domestic freight from factory to consolidation warehouse
- Storage beyond the free period (often 30 days)
- Repacking, relabelling, bundling and FBA preparation
- Laboratory testing for EN71, ASTM F963, CPSIA or CPC
- Tooling and moulds for custom parts
- Sample costs and courier charges
What to require from any agent before you commit:
- Factory price and service fee quoted as two separate lines
- A written statement on whether they take commission from the supplier
- A named inspection standard (AQL level, or 1-by-1) and who performs it
- Confirmation that the balance falls due after you approve the pre-shipment report
- Certification that matches your specific product and destination market
If an agent will not answer those five questions in writing, the commission percentage is not the number you should be negotiating.
Compliance: the part that decides whether your shipment clears
Toy compliance fails in a predictable way — a certificate that belongs to a different product, a different factory, or a different market.
| Mercado | What applies | Common failure |
| UE | EN71 (parts 1–3), plus GPSR general product safety and PPWR packaging rules | EN71 test report for a product variant that is not yours |
| EE.UU | ASTM F963 and CPSIA, documented through a CPC | CPC issued without third-party testing by a CPSC-accepted lab |
| Reino Unido | UKCA / EN71 equivalents | Assuming an EU certificate transfers unchanged |
| Canada | Canada Consumer Product Safety Act | Missing bilingual labelling |
| Australia/NZ | AS/NZS ISO 8124 | Test report older than the current standard revision |
Two rules that save the most money: get the certificate for your SKU, not for the factory’s catalogue, and confirm the requirement before the tooling or the packaging print run — because a packaging change after production is the most expensive compliance failure there is. We cover the EU packaging obligations in detail separately.
Preguntas frecuentes
How do I verify a China toy sourcing company is legitimate? Ask for a business licence and cross-check the registered name against the website domain. Ask for two client references in your region. Ask who performs inspection and whether you receive photographs with the report. A legitimate company answers all three without hesitation.
Is a 3% commission realistic? It is achievable on large, simple orders with minimal service scope. On small or complex orders it usually means the agent is paid elsewhere, most commonly by the supplier — which moves their incentive away from yours.
Should I use an agent or buy from Alibaba directly? Alibaba works when you already know the specification and can verify the supplier yourself. An agent earns the fee when you are comparing suppliers, consolidating categories, or cannot inspect in person.
Can one agent handle Yiwu and Shantou? Some can, some cannot. Yiwu is a market-buying skill; Shantou is a factory-sourcing skill. Ask specifically whether they have staff in both, not just “coverage”.
What is a realistic MOQ for toys from China? Stock items from Yiwu are often sold at carton level. Custom colours, logos, packaging or moulds carry per-item MOQs set by the factory. Any agent quoting a single MOQ across all products is guessing.
How long does toy sourcing take end to end? Roughly: 3–7 days for supplier comparison and quotation, 7–15 days for samples, 25–40 days for production, plus transit. Custom tooling adds 15–30 days. Testing adds time and should be scheduled before production, not after.
Can an agent ship directly to Amazon FBA? Many can. Confirm FNSKU labelling, poly bagging, bundle preparation and carton compliance explicitly — these are the most common reasons a shipment is rejected at the fulfilment centre.
